Johanna Soller zählt als Dirigentin, Cembalistin und Organistin zu den vielseitigsten Künstler:innen ihrer Generation.
Sie ist Künstlerische Leiterin der Nederlandse Bachvereniging seit dem 1. Mai 2025.
Seit der Saison 23/24 ist sie Künstlerische Leiterin des Münchener Bach-Chors und Bach-Orchesters, darüber hinaus leitet sie das von ihr gegründete Barockensemble capella sollertia.
Als Gastdirigentin arbeitete sie unter anderem mit dem Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, dem B’Rock Orchester, dem Dunedin Consort, der Kammerakademie Potsdam, den Münchner Symphonikern und der Opera North zusammen. Zukünftige Engagements führen sie u.a. zum Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Hallé Orchestra und zur Bachstiftung St. Gallen.

Johanna Soller wurde zum 1. Mai 2025 zur neuen Künstlerischen Leiterin der Nederlandse Bachvereniging ernannt.
Sie tritt die Nachfolge von Shunske Sato an, der diese Position bis Juni 2023 innehatte. Johanna Soller ist die siebte künstlerische Leiterin in der 104-jährigen Geschichte des Ensembles.
