As a conductor, harpsichordist, organist and teacher, Johanna Soller is one of the most versatile artists of her generation.
She has been appointed Artistic Leader of the Netherlands Bach Society, starting May 1.
Since season 23/24 she has been Artistic Director of the Munich Bach Choir and Bach Orchestra. She also leads her own baroque ensemble capella sollertia.
Future guest collaborations include the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, the B’Rock Orchestra, the Dunedin Consort, the Kammerakademie Potsdam, Opera North, Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and Antwerp Symphony Orchestra.

Johanna Soller has been appointed as artistic leader of the Netherlands Bach Society starting May 1.
She succeeds Shunske Sato, who held that position until June 2023. Johanna Soller is the seventh artistic leader in the ensemble's 104-year history.
